Invisible on Google

Your site exists, but nobody finds it.

A site can be live, attractive and complete without appearing in search results. Between "existing" and "being found" there are three steps Google must clear: discovering your pages, crawling them, then deciding to index them. A blockage at any of those steps makes your site invisible, however good the content is.

The unmistakable signs

  • Your company name does not rank first on your own brand
  • Organic traffic has been flat or falling for months
  • Search Console reports pages "discovered but not indexed"
  • Competitors rank on queries you should own
  • New pages take weeks to appear, or never appear at all

The most common causes

An accidental technical block

A noindex tag left behind after a redesign, an over-restrictive robots.txt, a staging site left open: these invisible mistakes are enough to erase a site from results.

Content the crawler never sees

If your text only appears after JavaScript runs in the browser, some crawlers never read it. They see an empty page and index it as such.

Pages cannibalising each other

Three pages on the same subject compete for the same query. Google cannot tell which to favour, and ranks all of them below a single clear page.

What it costs

Organic invisibility carries a silent cost: it makes you dependent on paid advertising. Every visitor who could have arrived for free must be bought. Over a year, the gap between a well-indexed site and an invisible one runs into tens of thousands of dollars of ad budget — for traffic that stops dead the moment you pause the campaigns.

How we audit it

  • Verifying actual indexation page by page in Search Console
  • Checking robots directives, canonical tags and redirects
  • Rendering your pages as the crawler sees them, without JavaScript
  • Detecting duplicates and pages competing with each other
  • Analysing internal linking and click depth

Our remediation plan

01

Unblock indexation

We clear the technical obstacles first: wrong directives, misplaced canonicals, an incomplete or stale sitemap. This is usually where most of the problem hides.

02

Make the content readable

We move rendering of important pages to the server, so the content is present in the delivered HTML rather than depending on the browser.

03

Clarify the structure

One search intent, one page. We merge duplicates, pick a reference page per topic, and build the internal linking that supports it.
