What is Digital strategy? Definition and explanations

A digital strategy defines what an organisation seeks to achieve through digital, for whom, and in which order. It settles trade-offs: which processes deserve tooling, which channels deserve investment, what will not be done. Without those explicit refusals, all that remains is a project list — a strategy is recognised as much by what it excludes as by what it keeps.

In one sentence

A digital strategy defines what the organisation aims for, for whom, and what it gives up.
