FinOps is the discipline that makes cloud spending visible, attributable and steerable. It brings engineering, finance and leadership around shared practices: resource tagging, chargeback by team or product, unit-cost tracking, trade-offs between long-term commitment and flexibility. The goal is not to spend less, but to know what each dollar buys.
